    How Andwise makes money

Andwise takes two payments: a one-time kit sold to physicians, and a co-brand license paid by programs. Nothing else funds the site, so nothing else can shade an answer.

    Policy dated October 31, 2026

    What Andwise sells

The First Contract Kit — a one-time, downloadable packet for physicians about to sign a first employment contract, at $79. A 30-day refund, no questions asked: if the kit does not help you prepare for a meeting, write to the address on your receipt and we return the full amount. It is the only product sold to physicians, and buying it requires no account and stores no contract.

The co-brand license — an annual fee paid by a residency program, medical school or specialty society to show its name on the embedded widgets. A residency program, medical school or specialty society can pay to show its name on the embedded widgets; that buys the name, and the tools' text and data stay the same for everyone.

    What Andwise does not accept

No lender, insurer, financial advisor, recruiter or advertiser pays Andwise, and it earns no referral fees: each would give someone a reason to shade an answer.

That means no affiliate links to lenders, insurers or advisors; no lead sales or referral fees; no employer or recruiter money; no sponsored content; and no paid placement in the tools or the data. Nothing on the site is a paid endorsement.

    Why the tools stay free

The tools are free, and that is what makes the kit and the license worth paying for: the contract checker, the offer comparison, the loan tools, the state non-compete pages and the open data carry no price and no account. A tool that recommended a lender or an insurer would lose the neutrality that makes the kit worth buying.

    Where the money goes

Sales cover the site's running costs — the domain, Cloudflare hosting, and the weekly re-check of the cited sources. Any surplus stays in the project; there are no investors, advertisers or parent companies with a claim on the answers.

    If you find an exception

The policy is checkable against the site: every claim carries a source and a check date, and the editorial policy states how information is verified. If a page ever reads as an advertisement, write to programs@joinandwise.com and we correct or remove it.
