The tools

The contract checker finds text that matches common clause patterns. It can miss clauses, mislabel them, or misread a PDF. The loan comparison uses published formulas and the inputs you give it; your servicer's numbers govern. Check every result against your documents and with a professional before acting on it.

Reference data

State laws and federal rules change. Each data set shows the date it was last checked and its sources. We do not promise it is complete or current.

Archive articles

Articles from 2022–2024 are kept as published, with their dates. Some describe rules, prices or programs that have since changed.
