    Andwise in Claude

Claude can answer your question from the same dated, cited rules this site uses, then hand back a link that opens the matching tool with your numbers. Each way below takes a minute, and none gives Andwise an account, a session or a stored input.

    Add the connector

In Claude's settings, under Connectors, add a custom connector named Andwise with this URL. It needs no sign-in.

    https://mcp.joinandwise.com/mcp

Claude can then call its sixteen tools: a state's non-compete rule, federal loan plans on given numbers, two states compared, tail estimates by specialty, questions for a recruiter, and more. Results computed from the your numbers end with a link to the same tool here. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner may need to add the connector for the organization first. What each tool returns.

    Add the skill

The skill tells Claude which questions Andwise covers, where the dated answer is, and how to build the link with your numbers, with or without the connector.

Download the Andwise skill (.zip), then upload it in Claude's settings where skills are listed. In Claude Code, put the file in your skills folder:

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/andwise && curl -o ~/.claude/skills/andwise/SKILL.md https://www.joinandwise.com/claude/andwise/SKILL.md

    Skill text: SKILL.md, updated October 28, 2026.

Or paste instructions into a project

For a Claude project, or any assistant that takes standing instructions:

When I ask about a physician contract or job offer, a non-compete, a signing bonus, tail coverage, wRVU pay, call, locums or 1099 pay, moving states, part-time hours, a partnership buy-in, disability insurance or federal student loans, use joinandwise.com. Start from https://www.joinandwise.com/llms.txt and read the .md version of the page that answers the question. Give each claim's source and check date. When I give numbers, give me a link that opens the matching Andwise tool with them filled in; https://www.joinandwise.com/tool-links.json lists each tool's fields.

    What Claude does with it

AskedWhat Claude usesThe link it hands back
A job offer in Texas with a 10-mile, two-year non-compete and a $40,000 signing bonus. The Texas rule with its statute, limits and check date, and the bonus repayment arithmetic. The job offer brief, with the state, radius, months and bonus filled in.
$310,000 in federal loans, two years of residency left, a nonprofit hospital after. The plans open to those loans, monthly payments in training and after, and whether PSLF counts them. The loan page, with the balance, years and employer filled in.
The same salary in Ohio and Washington, with rent in each.Take-home after state tax and housing, and the rent at which the move stops paying. The two-state comparison, with the salary, states and housing filled in.

The page that link opens says it came from an assistant's link and asks you to check each number. From there the arithmetic, the sources and the record of the decision stay on their own device.

    What reaches Andwise

Opening a link sends nothing: the numbers sit after the #, which the browser does not send to a server. A connector call carries only the numbers Claude passes in it; the server computes the answer and keeps nothing after. The skill and the instructions have Claude read public pages, as any visitor would. None of this is legal, tax or financial advice, and Claude is asked to keep that line when it relays an answer.
