Congratulations to the ten medical students from around the US selected for the inaugural Andwise Personal Finance Fellowship! Our mission is to empower healthcare professionals to take charge of their financial futures by offering a suite of comprehensive tools and educational resources. We are proud to be able to invest the next year in helping these students thrive as they participate in didactics, receive mentorship and have access to financial and legal professionals.

The Andwise Personal Finance Fellowship Program is a 12-month contract opportunity tailored for U.S. medical students. Our aim is to support your financial knowledge, ease your financial burden, and fuel your professional growth.

Benefits:

Quarterly Stipend: Fellows will receive a prepaid debit card with a $500 quarterly allowance to improve your financial wellness. You can use this for medical education, professional development or however you see fit. The stipend operates on a quarterly basis, encouraging you to utilize the full allowance within each period.

Community and Networking: Engage in private virtual events and monthly Zoom meetings to connect with peers and provide feedback for program enhancement.

Mentorship: Access our 55-Physician Medical Advisory Board for valuable guidance on your career path and financial matters.

Eligibility: Medical students from New York, Texas, California, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Florida, Michigan, Massachusetts, or Georgia are eligible to apply for this contract work opportunity. You must also not be enrolled in a similar ambassador or fellowship program for a company competitive with Andwise; e.g. another financial platform.

Responsibilities: As a fellow, you will be hired as an independent contractor and expected to actively participate in the program. Your responsibilities include attending virtual events, monthly Zoom meetings, and promoting the Andwise platform within your medical school and communities. Your involvement and suggestions will contribute to program improvement.

Tanya Frias brings over twenty years of financial services experience to Andwise. With her extensive background as a Certified Financial Planner and her dedication to making financial planning accessible, especially in underserved communities, Tanya is a key asset to our team. Her qualifications include a B.S. from the City University of New York, CFP certification from NYU, ChSNC certification from the American College, and she is currently advancing her knowledge with an Executive MBA from Kellogg-Northwestern.
